Job Info Job Location: Holtsville, New York Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2+ years Handling: Heavy Touch Additional Information CDL B Delivery Driver - Touch Freight - $265 Per Day - Holtsville, NY About the Position We are seeking a CDL B Driver for our client in Holtsville, NY. The position offers a flat rate of $265 per day. This role requires 2 years of recent CDL driving experience (preferably 3 years) and at least 1 year of touch freight experience. Pay & Schedule Flat Rate: $265 per day, average $1325 per week Start Time: 4:00 AM - 4:30 AM Work Schedule: 5-day work week with mandatory Saturdays; 1 day off midweek (could also be Monday to Friday depending on volumes) Job Details Handling: Hand cart/pallet jack unload, including up and down stairs/into basements Average Day: 8 – 10 hours Delivery Area: Primarily New York (including the boroughs), with potential overflow to New Jersey and Connecticut Stops: Averaging 10 – 14 stops per day Key Responsibilities Safely operate an automatic reefer straight truck Deliver freight to restaurants, hospitals, schools, etc Unload freight using hand carts and pallet jacks Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations Minimum Requirements Valid CDL B 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Must be at least 21 years old Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce At TransForce, drivers come first.
