Manage and co-ordinate employees and facilities to ensure preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are performed in a timely, cost effective and professional manner. Monitor and ensure the necessary manning levels and equipment are available to perform the planned tasks. Ensure project reporting is completed: monthly project progress reports to the client and internally including safety, performance, manning, and QA/QC. Take responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, providing leadership and technical support. Support site-based HR activities including recruitment of potential employees. Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives. What We’ll Need From You A relevant, nationally recognised Trade certificate, holding extensive experience with the maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment frequently utilised within the mining industry. Mining Supervisor Certifications – G1, G8, G9 and G2. Standard 11 Competency. Minimum 5 years heavy workshop and field maintenance experience in a managerial capacity, being a strong leader with the ability to mentor, coach, and delegate tasks Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group. Set and implement clear standards of integrity, consistently dedemostrating behaviours supporting organisational values and address inappropriate behaviour actions. Proven strong client management and liaison skills, holding a good understanding of customer operations and equipment usage. Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environment.
