Senior Accountant

Overview The Senior Accountant will assist with the day-to-day accounting activities, monthly close processes for the business, and maintain responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. Duties/Responsibilities Record day to day general ledger transactions, including cash activity Process accounts payable (vendor invoices and expense reports, maintain vendor records, etc), monitor checking account balances. Review of credit card transactions Maintenance of contract status forms (tracking billing vs. contracts, participate in quarterly meetings with department heads to confirm status) Setup Unemployment and payroll taxes with new states as needed. Prepare and/or submit customer invoices and supporting documentation Complete accounting close procedures such as bank reconciliations, expense accruals, variance analysis and vendor confirmations. Timesheet support, review and maintenance.
