Mortgage Specialist

We are seeking a detailoriented and reliable Mortgage Specialist to support mortgage loan officers and processors with daytoday administrative and client service functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring loan files move efficiently and accurately through the mortgage process from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with loan file setup, document collection, and ongoing file maintenance
  
• Prepare, review, and submit mortgage documentation for processing and underwriting
  
• Communicate with borrowers, processors, underwriters, title companies, and other third parties to obtain required documentation
  
• Track loan milestones and ensure deadlines are met
  
• Update loan systems and maintain accurate records
  
• Support preclosing and postclosing activities as needed
  
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to borrowers throughout the process
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a mortgage, lending, banking, or financial services environment preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fastpaced environment
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); mortgage software experience a plus
  
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and followthrough
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with mortgage documentation (applications, disclosures, credit, income, assets)
  
• Knowledge of loan processing workflows and compliance requirements
  
• Experience supporting loan officers or processors
  

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
