Board Certified Hospitalist Needed

Board Certified Hospitalist needed to cover 14 shifts per month. Seven days on and seven days off. Twelve hour shifts. Orientation will be the day before you start the assignment. The average census is eight to ten during the day and 15 to 20 at night. Average admissions during the day is six and at night is two. You will round in the ICU and respond to codes. The procedures required include vent management, central lines, thoracentesis and intubations. There is no mid-level support and you are not expected to serve as back up in the emergency room.
