CT TechnologistWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team for weekend shifts. This role is essential for delivering high-quality imaging services in a busy environment.Unit InformationAdult hospital with 64 beds and a 12-bed adult ICUEmergency department with 14 bedsImaging department staffed on weekends includes 1 MRI tech, 1 X-ray tech, 1 ultrasound tech (Saturday only), and 1 CT techWeekend CT shifts from 11 AM to 11 PMPatient PopulationThe majority of patients will be adults from the emergency department, with some pediatric scans possible. Adult inpatients will also require imaging as ordered.Equipment and TechnologyCT Scanner: Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CTEMR: MeditechPACS: FUJI SynapseQualificationsRequired: Minimum of 6 months of experience as a CT TechCT registration with ARRTKSBHA licensePreferred: Experience with Siemens scanners2-3+ years of CT experienceAble to back up X-ray when neededAbility to work independently and problem-solve effectivelyTypical ProceduresCT scans for head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvisCTA scans for chest, neck, and abdomenOccasional CTA cardiac studiesCT lumbar and thoracic spine imagingCT head stroke protocolPersonality FitThe ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment that can vary in pace based on emergency department patient loads.
