Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews

• Collaborate with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument exchanges during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations focusing on surgical practices

Certifications Required

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
