Paramedic

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dedicated, professional Paramedic to join our Emergency Department (ED) team . With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Paramedic performs a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physicians in rendering patient care in the Emergency Department. This role provides patient care within a defined scope of practice that includes observation, assessment, and specified treatments and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be 25 years old +
• Current Paramedic Licensure for State of Missouri
• BLS certification required
• Current training in Advanced Life Support (PALS and ACLS); OR must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Education requirement of High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role.

Additional certifications may be required for this position and will be coordinated by Lake Regional as a part of your ongoing training and development.

An annual influenza vaccination is required.
