Automotive Technician

Overview Eagle Auto Fleet & Repair Center Job Title: Automotive Technician Location: On-Site Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $28-$35/hour (based on experience) Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses. Perform diagnostics using advanced tools, electrical systems, and schematics. Repair and maintain vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and electrical components. Complete routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, inspections). Interpret technical manuals and ADAS data. Perform suspension work and diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, A/C, electrical, and computer systems. Use shop equipment (diagnostic machines, alignment systems, welding tools, etc.). Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay. Communicate effectively with service advisors, teammates, and customers regarding repair status and technical diagnoses. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology. Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of automotive and/or diesel mechanic experience. Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems. Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses is a plus. Valid driver's license with insurable record. Must be at least 18 years old. Willing to complete a pre-employment drug test. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying conditions. ASE certification (A/B/C level) or equivalent experience preferred. Vocational/Technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
