Job Description


We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and residential building projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs.

As an MEP Engineer, you will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle-from conceptual design and engineering calculations to construction support and final inspections-ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities


Design and develop mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects.

Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.

Create and modify MEP designs using AutoCAD and Revit.

Coordinate MEP system integration with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and project managers.

Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system analyses.

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and material specifications.

Review shop drawings, submittals, and contractor proposals for compliance with project requirements.

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify installations conform to engineering designs and specifications.

Identify and resolve technical issues during design and construction.

Review and recommend improvements to engineering standards, policies, and design practices.

Provide technical support throughout all phases of project development.

Qualifications


Proven experience as an MEP Engineer in the building design or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering principles and applicable building codes.

Experience performing engineering calculations, system design, and construction documentation.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred but not required.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
