Pediatric Phlebotomist - Part-time

Description Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care since 1947. We are comprised of 4 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek, Decatur and Buckhead. This is a part-time position at our Buckhead location with a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule (3 days). There is also a Saturday rotation once a month from 8:30am-1:00pm. Duties Include: Performs phlebotomy according to stated procedure. Properly identify patient in accordance with HIPAA. Label specimens immediately after drawing. Process specimens as soon as possible. Assists with restocking laboratory supplies. Input patient demographics and test result information into record systems. Answer telephone in section and respond accordingly. Performs additional duties as required. Requirements Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certified. Ability to Multi-task efficiently and effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Familiarity with computers and other office equipment. Basic typing and keyboard skills. Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Children's Medical Group, PC
