Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit with focus areas including general surgical, vascular, gynecologic, colorectal, and trauma patients.
- Monitor and assess patients, document findings, and contribute to care planning and discharge readiness.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including starting IV access as needed.
- Perform basic procedures appropriate to Med Surg and coordinate with multidisciplinary team for timely care.
- Maintain patient safety, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to the physician as required.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care plans.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience in the described specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH Certification
- IV starts experience
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting
- 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 24 hours per week

Education
- RN degrees and licensure as required for practice in Georgia
