C#.NET Developer
Duration: 6+ months (multi year extension possible) Location: 100% onsite NYC (Manhattan) – local industry- financial Must come from financial Net Developer - Compliance Applications (consultant) currently deploys a combination of vendor products and internally developed systems. Building a compliance platform to help fulfill various compliance and regulatory mandates. We are looking to hire a.NET consultant to join the corporate systems development team in New York to work in the compliance and regulatory area.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other technology teams to design and architect the overall solution
- Build integration with vendor products
- Develop real time, multi-threaded programs to interface with various internal and vendor applications
- Develop custom web-based user interfaces, custom reporting, and workflows
- Provide level 3 production support.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of production level dotnet core development experience
- Programming experience with a strong understanding of OOP with.NET Core, MS SQL Server, MySQL
- Good understanding of Python and shell scripts
- Web application development (HTML, JavaScript, Angular a plus)
- Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills and creativity; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive individual with strong communication skills; able to interface well with users and other development teams
- Self-driven individual with an ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working in an agile environment (preferably Scrum/ Kanban) and associated tools such as JIRA.
Skills Desired
- Experience with compliance or related applications helpful
- Prior AWS cloud experience
- Broad understanding of financial services instruments helpful
- Development experience in both windows and Unix/Linux environment
- Server-side Java experience helpful.
