Technical Integration Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Integration Manager based in Australia.

This remote APAC role offers the opportunity to own the technical customer experience for complex enterprise API integrations in the global travel technology industry. You will guide customers from implementation and technical onboarding through launch, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization. Working closely with enterprise customers, Product, Engineering, and commercial teams, you will help solve complex integration challenges and ensure successful outcomes. You will also identify recurring technical issues and translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements. With significant ownership and autonomy, you will help establish scalable processes for technical integration and support across the APAC region. Accountabilities:

As a Technical Integration Manager, you will own the technical relationship with enterprise customers throughout their integration journey while helping build a scalable technical integration function for the APAC region.

• Lead enterprise customers through technical discovery, API implementation, integration, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and determine whether issues relate to product functionality, integration, configuration, documentation, or customer understanding.
• Own technical customer relationships and ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout implementation and ongoing support.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to investigate technical issues and influence product improvements.
• Gather recurring customer pain points and translate them into clear, actionable feedback for internal teams.
• Help establish repeatable processes for technical onboarding, integration support, troubleshooting, and customer communication.
• Support customers in scaling their integrations while maintaining strong technical relationships and service quality.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, product managers, account managers, and customer stakeholders.
• Exercise sound judgment around troubleshooting, escalation, customer expectations, and when issues should be incorporated into the product roadmap.
• Help shape the APAC technical integration function, building processes and structure while remaining hands-on with customer and technical work.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong API and software integration knowledge with excellent customer-facing communication and the ability to operate independently in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Strong professional experience working with APIs, technical integrations, and modern software products.
• Experience owning or supporting technical relationships with enterprise customers.
• Hands-on experience across customer lifecycle stages such as technical discovery, pre-sales, API implementation, go-live, post-launch troubleshooting, or optimization.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Account Management, or Customer Success teams.
• Strong judgment in determining when to troubleshoot independently, escalate an issue, or provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in an environment with limited process.
• Ability to build structure and scalable processes without compromising speed or customer experience.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple customers, priorities, and technical challenges.
