What you’ll bring:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Previous experience working with students with mild to moderate learning or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for individualized instruction

What you’ll do:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and IEP goals
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere encouraging growth, self-advocacy, and inclusion
• Monitor student progress toward academic and social-emotional objectives
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success
• Engage with families to ensure ongoing communication and partnership in student learning
• Maintain timely and accurate records and adhere to all state and federal regulations
