ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide episodic, trauma‑informed, person‑centered therapy utilizing evidence‑based practices. Maintain client records and all other required documentation in a timely and confidential manner, in accordance with agency policies and practices. When required by the outpatient program, Mental Health Clinician II who hold a credential (i.e., L‑AAC, LMHCA, LMFTA, LICSWA) eligible to be a Mental Health Professional will provide initial intake assessments for persons seeking services at FBH to determine individual meets medical necessity and eligibility for FBH outpatient services. This involves comprehensive assessments, preliminary diagnoses, and treatment recommendations for both youth and adults; completing Consent to Release Confidential Information with the client and guardians, when appropriate; accurately determining the program assignment for individuals who are enrolled. Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention and stabilisation services as needed, including facilitating access to inpatient facilities for behavioural health care. Facilitate and co‑facilitate client treatment groups. Represent the agency and its services to the community in a positive and professional manner. Participate in required staff meetings, including regular supervision and weekly clinical staff meetings. Participate in any required training, consultation calls, and onsite visits or reviews when required by contract. Accept delegation and follow through with specific expanded assignments and responsibilities within FBH system such as quality improvements teams, task groups, committees, consultations, mentoring or training responsibilities. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with clinical, administrative and support staff, community partners, clients, and family/natural supports. Include the client’s support network and applicable involved community partners in treatment and any applicable care coordination. Coordinate with treatment team regarding treatment progress and discharge planning and operate as a member of multi‑disciplinary team providing services in the community, virtually, and clinical setting in compliance with any treatment models. Develop and implement care plans with measurable objectives and obtainable goals, in collaboration with the client, evaluating client’s progress and adjusting as needed. Meet productivity standards in accordance with agency program guidelines. Comply with all state WAC requirements and FBH policies and procedures. Perform FBH charting requirements, correspondence, Workday, and other paperwork in a complete and timely manner. May be assigned to supervise interns. Maintain professional credentials, including continuing education as applicable. Requires travel to see clients in the community and travel between work sites. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum requirements (Required): Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from an accredited college or university. Must apply for a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential from the WA State Department of Health within 30 days of hire. Must have an unrestricted and valid driver's license, active car insurance and must be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work. Preferred qualifications: Two years of experience providing clinical behavioural health services. Knowledge of service delivery models including groups, skills training, brief/focused therapy, community‑based intervention for children and/or adults with serious and persistent mental health diagnoses. Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes pertaining to the treatment and delivery of mental health services. Knowledge of and experience providing evidence‑based psychotherapy modalities. Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds, traumatic experiences, cultures, education level and socio‑economic status. This position provides client services in‑office and within the community at large on an occasional to frequent basis. Community settings include but are not limited to residences, group/congregate living settings, hospitals, shelters, the streets or anywhere in the community at large. Some environments may not be ideal in terms of cleanliness or being habitable. Occasional frequent travel between locations is required. The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required. Daily use of a computer is required. May be required to lift 10 – 20 pounds. PAY RANGE (Hourly / Non‑Exempt) Mental Health Clinician II – No Licensure: $30.91 – $34.79 per hour Mental Health Clinician III – Licensure: $32.72 – $36.82 per hour All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus the starting pay is as follows: Mental Health Clinician II – No Licensure: $30.91 per hour Mental Health Clinician III – Licensure: $32.72 per hour This position is eligible for quarterly productivity incentives.
