We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Administration team in Kearney! PART-TIME — APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS PER WEEK MONDAY–FRIDAY FLEXIBLE HOURS BETWEEN 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CONSISTENT WEEKDAY, DAYTIME SCHEDULE This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time employment with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexibility to work within normal business hours. POSITION SUMMARY The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate payment of goods and services purchased by the agency, as well as processing and filing vendor 1099s and required tax reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process agency vouchers and accounts payable checks. Process and file vendor 1099s and required tax reporting. Maintain accurate agency accounting records in compliance with agency accounting policies and Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR 200). EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Two-year degree in accounting or finance preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior non-profit experience strongly preferred. REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff and the public. Model appropriate and professional behavior. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Experience with computer software applications, including Word and Excel.
