Our Scheduling Coordinator Enjoys Some Excellent Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Meaningful work that supports local families and caregivers Team-oriented, supportive office environment Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay As a Scheduling Coordinator, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do: Create and maintain caregiver schedules to ensure consistent client coverage Quickly fill open shifts due to call-offs, schedule changes, or new client cases Coordinate caregiver assignments based on availability, skills, and client needs Communicate scheduling updates clearly and professionally with caregivers and clients Monitor attendance, call-offs, and caregiver reliability trends Maintain accurate records within scheduling andEVV systems Collaborate with recruiting and clinical teams to anticipate staffing needs Provide on-call scheduling support as assigned Ensure continuity of care by proactively addressing scheduling challenges A few must-haves for the Scheduling Coordinator: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred At least one (1) year of scheduling, staffing coordination, or home care experience preferred Strong customer service and phone communication skills Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Professional, calm demeanor under pressure Why work for Interim Healthcare?
