Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 11, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 4x12 hour shifts (48 hours per week). Floating to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• High-volume, 64-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population from newborn through geriatric
• Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Access to specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun technology
• EPIC EMR system in use
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Unit features 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage areas, 6 super track, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required; multistate license verification through NURSYS
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with documented pediatric experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand prior to start)
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Valid driver's license
• RTO (Return to Operate) documentation required at submission
