Planning Coordinator

Position Planning Coordinator. Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, $25.00–$34.00 per hour (DOE). Responsibilities Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company objectives, production strategies, and support activities. Act as the key liaison between CSRs, planners, and production supervisors to ensure alignment with the plan. Review job orders and, in collaboration with the Planner/Scheduler, establish priorities and schedules. Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are filled on time and in full. Track deliveries and shipments to the facility to confirm they are proceeding normally. Track and report production metrics and performance. Assist in processing customer orders and shipments according to the established schedule. Coordinate with Production Supervisors to resolve production planning and control issues. Coordinate with Quality to understand quality issues affecting the plan. Coordinate with Supply Chain to develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses. Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives. Review production/shipping plans to identify and report potential risks. Work with cross‑functional teams to complete job orders on‑time and within customer specifications. Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations. Develop dynamic planning of activities across multi‑functional teams and workstations to ensure optimal sequence of work. Communicate production updates to Planners and CSRs in a timely manner. Monitor execution of job orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP preferred. Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning. Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment (QAD preferred).
