Information Technology Project Coordinator (New York)

One of the leading providers of best-in-class information technology services and solutions is looking for an AV Project Coordinator to join their New York, NY team!

Our client is looking for an AV-focused Project Coordinator to support a large-scale enterprise AV engineering program. This role will focus on creating, organizing, and validating the technical documentation required to support AV engineering initiatives. You will work closely with AV engineers, project managers, product teams, security, and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure engineering documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for future operational support.

Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of AV-focused project coordination, technical documentation, or similar experience.
• Working knowledge of AV systems, terminology, devices, and engineering workflows.
• Experience creating and maintaining clear and accurate technical and project documentation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and identify missing or incomplete documentation and testing evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and document-control skills.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, project management, and other technical stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Create and maintain AV engineering documentation within Jira and Confluence.
• Review Jira stories to ensure engineers have included complete testing evidence, screenshots, attachments, and supporting information.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs), test plans, product documentation, and Confluence pages for new AV technologies and asset models.
• Work directly with AV engineers to capture technical information and translate it into clear, usable documentation.
• Track documentation deliverables and follow up with engineering teams on missing or incomplete records.
• Support documentation associated with security assessments and threat models.
• Partner with Project Management to improve Jira governance, documentation standards, and engineering workflow discipline.
• Organize product, testing, design, and operational information for future support teams.
• Coordinate across AV engineering, project management, product management, security, and infrastructure teams.
