We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a cook. As a cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and service, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals. If you have experience in the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes Follow proper food handling and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area Collaborate with the Food Service Manager to meet specific dietary needs Requirements Previous experience in food preparation Knowledge of basic knife skills and food service techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work weekends and holidays Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed An approved physical examination signed and dated by your primary care doctor no more than 30 days prior to hire (form is provided at interview) A two-part PPD tuberculosis skin test completed no more than 30 days prior to hire (form is provided at interview) Reliable transportation.
