Position Purpose Build and lead a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, ensuring a healthy pipeline of clients and delivering an exceptional fitness experience to members. Responsibilities Achieve sales targets month-over-month, driving membership growth and ensuring the team meets or exceeds set goals for new personal training agreements, client retention, and overall revenue generation. Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding, driving sales initiatives, and establishing a smooth transition into the club experience. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers. Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and personal trainers to ensure timely and accurate payment. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to department leaders and staff, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities. Ensure all fitness staff have appropriate certifications (CPR, First Aid, personal trainer certifications). Provide constructive feedback to staff members on their performance, highlighting strengths and improvement areas. Maintain high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns or complaints, managing membership inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and providing clear responses. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols. Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. In the event of emergencies or unexpected disruptions, communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members, providing necessary instructions and updates to ensure safety. Qualifications 2 years of management experience; fitness/personal training management is a plus. 3–4 years of customer service experience. Personal Training sales experience is highly preferred. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions. Strong detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving approach, and good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Someone who embraces our Core Values. Requirements Must successfully pass a background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Valid PT certification. Previous sales experience required. Ability to work in a gym setting and move throughout club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports. Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs. Additional Compensation Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus. Post‑training salary increase. Compensation Salary Pay Range: $60,000—$60,000 USD.
