Maintenance Technician

Overview Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a dynamic work environment where your expertise is valued? We’re seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at our Norton, VA plant and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. This multi-craft position involves a strong mechanical background, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Convert standard inch units to metric. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. Read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints. Perform various welding techniques. Repair and maintain plant instrumentation and lighting systems. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance. Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Assist in training and orientation of co-workers. Teamwork Orientation Leadership Skills Expected Hours of Work Could vary depending on shifts and position opening available. Shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Rotating: Sunday - Wednesday and Wednesday - Saturday Overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent Completion of a Journeyman apprenticeship program preferred Competitive Hourly Pay Overtime Hours and Pay Product Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr Mullican Flooring LP
