NOW HIRING: CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Location: Butler, NJ 07405
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 3rd Shift Only
Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay rate: $19– $24 per hour (Depending on experience)

Are you looking to start a career in manufacturing or build on your existing CNC machining experience? We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Butler, New Jersey.

Job Responsibilities

Operate and load bar stock into multi-axis CNC turning machines.
Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and production paperwork.
Inspect parts using calipers, visual comparators, depth micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Ensure parts meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
Change tools and make machine adjustments and offsets as needed.
Perform secondary operations, including deburring and part identification stamping.
Record inspection results, production quantities, and material usage.
Keep machines, tools, and the work area clean and safe.
Report machine issues, quality concerns, and potential safety hazards.
Operate multiple machines while maintaining productivity and product quality.
Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CNC Experience

Candidates with experience operating CNC turning machines, including Haas, Mori Seiki, or Star CNC equipment, are encouraged to apply.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Stand for extended periods and handle tools, materials, and machine controls.
Work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, metal chips, oils, and forklifts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
