This health system in Mt. Pleasant, Texas is seeking a locum tenens pulmonologist for ongoing clinic coverage. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and support staff necessary to deliver specialized respiratory care on-site. The assignment operates under a structured day shift schedule designed to support continuity of pulmonology services.

Mt. Pleasant, Texas and the surrounding Titus County area offer a range of outdoor and cultural attractions. Lake Bob Sandlin State Park features a 9,000-acre lake with opportunities for swimming, fishing, paddling, boating, and 3.3 miles of wooded trails accessible by foot or bike. The area also features the Edison Phonograph Museum, the Mid America Flight Museum, and a downtown district with locally-owned shops, restaurants, and an outdoor music venue. Visitors may also pick blueberries and sample goods from local confectionery shops.

The pulmonologist will provide clinic-based pulmonology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 18 patients per day. The clinician must be proficient in endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) as a required procedural component of this assignment. Clinical documentation is maintained using EPIC EMR. The clinician must remain available via phone for stat laboratory results as needed. No call coverage is required beyond phone availability for stat labs. Board certification in Pulmonary Disease is required.
