Lead Medical Lab Assistant

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Medical Lab Assistant for our Clinical Pathology team in Columbia County (FT Days). In this role, you will coordinate daily specimen collection, labeling, and processing to support accurate, timely diagnostics. You’ll oversee lab assistants, provide training, ensure quality control, and maintain regulatory and safety standards. Working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment, you’ll partner with technologists and clinicians, use advanced lab technology, and contribute to process improvements and compassionate care across our Georgia communities.
