Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide Duties: - Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as necessary. - Follow care plans and communicate any changes (HHA/CNA) you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance with basic activities and daily living needs of patients. The Home Health Aide follows the home health aide instruction sheet and the directions of the RN Case Manager. Examples of activities include: assistance with personal care such as bathing, transferring, dressing and undressing, and ambulation, to patients in their home or place of residence. The specific personal care for each patient will be determined by the RN Case Manager, and will be given in writing to the home health aide. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program. - Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred. - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is preferred. - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
