Reports To: Chief Lending Officer
Tanager Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager with experience in commercial banking, credit analysis, underwriting, loan review, or portfolio management.
This role manages an assigned segment of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio and supports annual reviews, renewals, financial analysis, credit documentation, and risk monitoring. It is designed as a development path toward Portfolio Manager II.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned commercial loan relationships
- Complete annual reviews, renewals, and loan modifications
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and projections
- Prepare credit write-ups and supporting analysis
- Recommend risk ratings for Credit Administration review
- Monitor loan covenants, borrower reporting, and credit documentation
- Identify and escalate emerging credit concerns
- Support larger or more complex commercial relationships
- Assist with loan review, audit, examination, and portfolio reporting
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of commercial banking, credit analysis, underwriting, loan review, or portfolio management experience
- Experience with commercial credit and financial statement analysis
- Strong cash flow analysis and credit documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial spreading software
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute
