Pharmacist Position Available

A pharmacist position is available within an infusion center on California's Central Coast, serving an integrated health system. This opportunity involves working across two pharmacy locations approximately 20 miles apart in San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, requiring flexibility to toggle between sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify chemotherapy admixtures and other infusion medications in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on drug therapies, with a focus on oncology treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication management within the infusion center setting.
• Ensure adherence to sterile compounding procedures and infection control policies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with valid California licensure.
• Experience in oncology pharmacy, particularly chemotherapy admixture preparation, is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with infusion center operations and integrated health system protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to travel between the two pharmacy locations as required.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday day shifts.
