Information Security Project Coordinator - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Project Coordinator - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented project coordinator to manage hardware implementation projects within network security. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across technical and non-technical teams, and consistently drives projects to successful completion with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables
• Review and analyze complex Information Security Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
• Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Engineering

Requirements:

• 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Experience coordinating hardware implementation projects, including schedule management, implementation planning, documentation, and leading cutover activities
• Working knowledge of network security technologies and infrastructure, including firewalls and IDS/IPS
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate project documentation, capture and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to asking questions and escalating issues appropriately
• Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams and dependencies
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard project tracking and reporting tools
• Flexible to support a combination of daytime project coordination and after-hours implementation activities as required by project schedules

Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
