Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient assessments, initiating diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Managing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with healthcare providers or independently (dependent on applicable credentials)
• Educating patients and their families on preventive health, wellness practices, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing and managing medications and therapies as per practice guidelines
• Overseeing patient follow-ups and chronic care collaboration

• Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
