Location: Tempe, AZ
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time

Fuze HR Solutions is partnering with an established electronics manufacturing organization to hire an experienced Procurement Specialist in Tempe, AZ.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this individual will play a key role in ensuring materials and services are purchased efficiently, competitively, and on schedule. We’re looking for someone who combines strong procurement and supply-chain knowledge with excellent supplier-management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who understands how purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, cost control, and production schedules all work together within manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Purchase assigned materials, goods, and services based on MRP and ERP requirements.
• Review and release approved purchase orders and work orders.
• Coordinate and expedite incoming materials, parts, and assemblies to support production and shipping schedules.
• Manage RFx activities, analyze supplier responses, and make best-value purchasing recommendations.
• Maintain accurate procurement, delivery, quality, performance, and inventory records.
• Partner with Quality, Operations, suppliers, and other internal teams to resolve defective or unacceptable materials and identify corrective actions.
• Manage and maintain item-master information to support inventory accuracy.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and reducing obsolete inventory.
• Analyze opportunities for supplier and component consolidation, total-cost reduction, global sourcing, and specification rationalization.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Measure supplier performance and identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Stay informed on supplier capabilities, market conditions, and emerging supply-chain trends.
• Support supply-chain reporting and ISO requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or 5+ years of relevant procurement, supply chain, or purchasing experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience within electronics manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Experience with quoting and estimating within the electronics industry.
• Strong experience with supplier negotiations, supplier contracts, and supply programs.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems; Made2Manage experience is an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel proficiency, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing demands.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while taking ownership of procurement priorities.

Nice to Have

• CPIM, CSCP, or SCMP certification.
• Experience with cost control and financial alignment.
• Familiarity with demand forecasting.
• Experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Compensation

$70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
