What You'll Do As an integral part of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of Safari Shoppe. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing opening and closing procedures to keep our store running seamlessly. Handling cash management and balancing daily receipts with precision. Operating our point-of-sale system to provide efficient service to our customers. Delivering exceptional customer service and supporting sales efforts. Managing inventory and merchandising to keep our shop looking its best. Coordinating with vendors for ordering and receiving. Providing support to staff and volunteers to foster a positive work environment. Assisting with scheduling to ensure optimal coverage. Preparing sales reports and maintaining records for accurate tracking. Utilizing basic Excel and computer skills for operational tasks. Tackling problem-solving and making daily decisions to keep things on track. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A knack for problem-solving and making sound decisions under pressure. Proficiency in basic computer operations, including Excel and Quickbooks.
