Preventative Maintenance MechanicWaste Connections is looking for a reliable Preventative Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our fleet safe, road-ready, and running strong. If you take pride in your work and care about safety, we want to talk to you.What You'll Do:Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and equipmentWork on electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systemsUse diagnostic software and tools to find and fix issuesRespond to road calls and make emergency repairsComplete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)Test drive trucks after repairsHelp other mechanics as neededKeep shop clean and safe (OSHA compliant)Communicate professionally with drivers and team membersWhat We're Looking For:Experience working on diesel vehiclesComfortable using diagnostic tools and doing preventative maintenanceBasic personal tool setHydraulic experience is a plusWhat We Offer:Competitive pay: $28–$35/hourMonday–Friday schedule (rotating Saturdays)401(k) with company matchMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife and disability insuranceEmployee assistance & mental health programsEmployee stock purchase planScholarship opportunities for dependentsWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
