- Conducting thorough patient evaluations and ordering necessary diagnostic tests to tailor individual care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions independently or under physician collaboration
- Educating patients and their families about wellness, preventive measures, and effective disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in line with practice standards
- Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams for consistent and integrated patient care
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records within electronic medical systems
- A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
- A valid Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- National certification in Family Practice (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a nurturing bedside manner
- Outstanding communication capabilities with patients, their families, and your healthcare colleagues

- Proficiency with EMR systems and a comfort level with telehealth technologies
