Sr. Business Analyst - Remote

Job Title

Work with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies.

Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business clients unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can strategically assist and support.

Supports one or more highly complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.

Serve as a project team member or team lead, as needed.

Responsible for coordinating the collection, analysis and translation of requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

Support product owners in prioritizing the product backlog based on business value.

Align IT resources and processes in order to meet the client organizations needs, as well as the design of enterprise solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.

Prior experience as a Business System Analyst, with at least 2 years in an Agile environment, preferably for a backend system writing RESTful APIs

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

Strong organization, written and oral communication skills

Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details

Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion

Excellent documentation skills, including technical writing.

Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
