Call Taker (Customer Service Rep)

Responsibilities Answer, screen, and direct calls for entire company Distinguish the need for emergency transportation Pre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for the patients Arrange specialty and critical care transportation Provide information and assistance for customer service inquires as needed Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personal Provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport Develop effective solutions for customer service issues Direct calls to Flight desk as appropriate Other duties as assigned Qualifications Map reading skills Problem solving skills Multi-tasking ability Effective communication skills EMD license Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the position, the employee is required to sit for long periods of time. Employee will be required to listen to radio traffic/PTT, communicate over the phone as well as monitor and respond to all chat messages, and ability to type is required. Employee should be able to work under stressful conditions. Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the employee has verbal contact with others and constantly works face to face with and around others and constantly works face to face with and around others.
