Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Low Voltage Estimator to join our team. This is a professional position focused on budgeting and estimating for commercial low voltage projects— not a technician role . The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of low voltage systems and the ability to accurately forecast project costs, labor, and programming requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and budgets for commercial low voltage installation projects
\n
• Calculate labor and material costs for fiber, copper, riser cables, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and A/V systems
\n
• Read and interpret low voltage and A/V construction blueprints
\n
• Create and revise proposals and change orders
\n
• Forecast project budgets with precision
\n
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
\n
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
\n
• Utilize estimating software and QuickBooks Professional Services Estimates
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Minimum 2 years of commercial low voltage experience
\n
• Working knowledge of low voltage systems, security cameras, Wi-Fi, and/or A/V
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
\n
• Ability to read low voltage and A/V construction blueprints
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
\n
• Professional demeanor when interacting with clients
\n
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
\n
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
\n
• Willingness to learn and adapt
\n

Preferred Skills

\n
• Electrical budgeting experience
\n
• Familiarity with estimating software
\n
• Experience with QuickBooks Professional Services Estimates
\n
• Background in commercial construction
\n
