As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor activity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access and entry records. Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, deliveries, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; communicate discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate contacts according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
