IV Pharmacy Technician — Grand Prairie, TX (Onsite)

A-Line Staffing is now hiring an IV Pharmacy Technician in Grand Prairie, TX . This is an onsite, contract-to-hire opportunity with a consistent full-time schedule and the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy setting.

Position Details

Title: IV Pharmacy Technician
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: 40 hours/week , 8-hour shifts
- Shift requirement: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Openings: 4 positions
Type: Contract to Hire

Pay / Shift Differential

Pay: $25.45/hour
Shift 2 Differential: +$1.00/hr
Shift 3 Differential: +$2.50/hr
Overtime (OT): Average of Shift 1–3 straight time × 1.5
Double Time (DT): Average of Shift 1–3 straight time × 2

What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will:

Fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification in a high-volume environment
Prepare IVs (as needed/assigned)
Support pharmacists with daily workflow and production needs
Enter data into the computer system to support prescription processing and reimbursement
Assist with prepackaging medications according to standards and government regulations
Assist with final-check support activities (staging/packaging for pharmacist final review and post-check processes)
Help ensure accurate, timely preparation for delivery to customers
Support inventory best practices (receiving, rotating stock, lot/expiration tracking, physical inventory support)
Maintain a clean/safe work environment and assist with equipment checks (calibration, safety, cleanliness)

Required Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (required)
IV certification (preferred)
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
Comfortable learning a complex automated dispensing system
Dependable and punctual
