Talent Acquisition Compliance AssociateAs an Associate on the Operations Risk and Governance team, you will focus primarily on managing background checks and supporting Talent Acquisition Compliance for specialized recruitment. In this role, you will partner closely with Compliance Leads, Recruiters, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to ensure background check processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with policies and applicable laws. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilities include:Managing the background check process for a high volume of requisitions across business functions using applicant tracking system and background check vendor workflowServing as the primary point of contact for background check questions, updates, and issue resolution from recruiters, candidates, and internal stakeholdersMonitoring background check status, following up on outstanding items, and ensuring timely completion to support hiring decisionsReviewing background check results and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance requirementsValidating candidate-provided and vendor-provided documentation to ensure it meets internal and external standardsIdentifying, documenting, and escalating background check exceptions, discrepancies, or concerns as appropriateQualifications:Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredMinimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional recruiting, HR operations, or compliance environmentExperience working with First Advantage or another background check vendor preferredExperience validating and reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance preferredExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced role requiring multitasking and strong organizationEEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
