Exciting Opportunity for Cath Lab/IR Lab Tech!

Job Description:


- Position: Cath Lab Tech/IR Lab Tech
- Shift: 4x10s, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years, first-timers accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS with IR Tech experience
- On-Call Requirements:
- 12-13 days of call in a 6-week period
- Call hours: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays
- Call hours: 5:30 PM Friday - 7:00 AM Monday for weekends
- Locals Accepted: Local rate is $5 less for those living within 50 miles of the facility
- Guaranteed Hours: 40

Special Requirements:


- Strong experienced Cath Lab Tech with IR experience is a must!

Unit Details:


- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 2-3 teams of four
- Nights: team of 4 on call


- Daily Census: Procedural area treating vascular, cardiac, and pain management patients
- Special Procedures:
- Cardiac Catheterizations (with and without intervention)
- Vascular Procedures: port placement, thrombectomy, peripheral vascular
- Cardiac Rhythm: Temp/Perm device implantation, cardioversion/TEE, EP studies
- Pain Management: RF ablation of nerve routes, injection of steroids into joints and spine
- Case Volume: Average of 280 cases per month
- STEMI Call Team: 4-man team available for 8-12 STEMI calls monthly

- Philips ISVC - PACS
- Philips Xper - Hemodynamics
- Maquet - IABP
