Essential Areas of Responsibility PRN Position Provide care to patients of all ages – children to geriatrics Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co‑morbid disease conditions Manage all inpatient care and provide prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within scope of practice) Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health‑care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER Employ quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes Compensation Competitive hourly rates: $75 /hour Flexible scheduling Responsibilities Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Job Requirements Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master’s or Doctorate program. Have 1+ year of Emergency Room or Inpatient experience (required). Board‑certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine. ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS certified. Qualified to obtain an unrestricted Minnesota practice license and DEA. Interested in a shift‑based condensed work schedule (Ten 24‑hour shifts is full‑time). Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing patient demographics and needs.
