Senior Accountant

Established and global manufacturing/distribution company is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its team in Wood Dale, IL. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is a broad-based Sr. Accountant role with exposure well beyond traditional GL responsibilities.

Senior Accountant Snapshot:
- Month-end close, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Inventory accounting and related reserves
- Parent company financial reporting
- Fixed assets, intercompany accounting and commission calculations
- Cash forecasting and management reporting
- Internal controls, audit support and process improvement
- Oversight/support of AP and AR activities
Background: xhyhwjd
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Savvy with MS Excel and ERP systems
- Inventory accounting experience a plus
