Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and effectively passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Possession of a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
