What You’ll Do as a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy) Work one‑on‑one with children in home, school, or community settings Implement skill‑building and behavior‑reduction plans designed by a BCBA Use play‑based, child‑led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment What We’re Looking For in a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapy) High school diploma (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred) Completion of 40‑hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided) Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate Why Join Galaxy ABA?
