SEASONAL TRAVEL RN NICU

Job Description RN-Registered Nurse – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) Onsite Contract, 13 weeks (Starting 7/13/2026). Compensation: $1,246 weekly stipends, $16/hour, $576 weekly base pay. Shift: Day Shift – 12 hours/day, 3 days/week (7A – 7P). Location: Wichita, KS – Wesley Medical Center, 550 N Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67214. Unit Information: Type: Neonatal ICU (675). Floor: 2 & 3. Number of Beds: 84. Number of Staff: 160. Staff roles: Charge CNC Nurse, RN, Unit Secretaries, RRT. Patient Ratios: 2:1 NICU, 3:1 NSCU. Equipment: Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, ECG: Philips, Client. EMR: Neonatal Notes Manager / Meditech. Required Qualifications: Minimum 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience. Active KS licensure. Level IV NICU experience. Prior Meditech experience. Experience traveling to large teaching facilities. Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: IV placement. Whole body cooling. Surgical cases (NEC, PDA, CVC). PDA ligations. High frequency ventilation. Chest tubes. Desired Personal Attributes: Team player with excellent communication skills and developmental supportive care.
