Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse (MS) Newburgh, Indiana. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a 32-bed medical-surgical unit within a healthcare facility. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient assessment and intervention.

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour days, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Schedule: The assignment starts on 08/24/2026, with an expected contract length of 13 weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Current active compact license, AHA BLS, NIHSS, two years of strong medical-surgical experience, at least one travel assignment, trauma level II experience, recent EPIC charting experience (will be required to do a checkoff class).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV fluid/antibiotic therapies, medical/post-surgical assessment, wound management, telemetry, and wound vacs.
• Float: First to float within skill set; cross-campus float may be required with 2-hour notice.
• Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday.
• Interview Days: Monday through Friday.
