Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Hobbs, New Mexico. The healthcare provider will support perioperative surgical services in an OR setting with patient care responsibilities and clinical skills focused on a variety of cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); compact license in hand at submission; and charting experience with Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience.
• Responsibilities: Administration of blood and blood products; support ambulatory OR case flow; participate in surgical care across a range of orthopedic, general, gynecology, and other operative procedures; demonstrate skills with perioperative safety practices including Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure; and perform related perioperative clinical tasks such as starting peripheral IVs, urinary bladder catheterization, specimen handling/labeling, and wound management.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• On-Call: On-call coverage required 12 days MondayFriday and 12 weekends per month (call day rotation may vary based on unit rotation).
• Additional Information: Knowledge and skills with ortho, general, gynecology, and podiatry are required. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).
